brocante treasures

In yesterday’s post I provided a little insight on the location of our local brocantes.  As promised, today, I’m showing you my spoils, what came home with me.

vintage chaplet, rosary, religious charms

I hit the mother lode with the chaplet’s!  I am particularly fond of the larger one, the one with the opaque glass beads and the one with the tiny tarnished silver beads.  Rosaries have become notably popular, especially at brocante and flea markets and most of the ones I see are made with plastic beads, so when I do find ones in glass or wood, I grab them!  These chaplet’s are used in many of my  One of a Kind pieces along with special charms, buttons and mixed chains.  Take a peek at the pictures below, if you see something you like don’t hesitate to contact me, I would love to create a special token piece for you or a loved one.
